As former editor of the Stratford-upon-Avon Herald, I led the paper to award-winning status and oversaw many community campaigns, from partnering on a hospital fundraising drive, through to supporting the battle against development at an historic airfield.

But my extensive career has led to work in all fields of the media, including national and local news, arts, lifestyle, exclusive interviews, features, commercial and opinion pieces both in print (magazines and newspapers) and online.

I have a nose for news and, while I can find an angle in anything, I know how to maximise the reader potential of any story. I’m as comfortable reporting from courtrooms and council chambers as I am interviewing celebrities and reviewing theatre. And I’ve have had a series of human interest features published in national magazines.
